Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager Supply Chain. This position will work primarily as a Planner / long-range scheduler.

This position will monitor end to end, from RM / PM availability to inventory of Finished Products

This position will work directly with Buyers in Supply Chain activities.

This position will also work closely with the Operations and Quality teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing and release plans

. Ability to work well in a team and individually following GMP standards per SOPs.

This position will be responsible for creating Purchase Requisitions, working with Buyers / Procurement team ensuring on time delivery.

An understanding of SAP is desirable to fulfill this function as well as experience with Microsoft Excel.

Understanding the whole supply chain is important for effective coordination and liaison with customers.

Area Of Responsibility

  • Place Purchase Requisitions for the Procurement of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient), Excipients, Packaging Material, and process materials.
  • Manage proper inventory controls for API, Excipients, Packaging Material, and process materials to ensure accuracy of inventory projections.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement team monitoring and managing component availability to ensure that supply plans will be fulfilled, and proactively working to mitigate and resolve any product supply issues.
  • Identify and resolve capacity short-falls either with downstream demand collaboration or upstream supplier schedule changes
  • Meet regularly with Procurement team/production planner(s) to discuss key in-stock and inventory issues, focus areas for the month, and extended timeframes
  • Ensure product continuity of supply for all materials that fall under their assigned portfolio of products
  • Advise management and appropriate internal teams of the current and future status of product supply for existing products.
  • Evaluate existing processes and improve if necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, Business/Administration.

Experience

  •  1 - 2 years’ experience, preferably in purchasing, planning, or logistics
  • Experience in key supply chain functions including material requirements, purchasing, manufacturing, and inventory
  • Ability to use MS Excel, Microsoft Access, or other similar database software, including running pre-formatted reports preferred. Knowledge of SAP & Kinaxis is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate key supply issues with approved vendors for and develop appropriate alternative solutions to meet production goals

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $64,500 to $71,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.

The compensation and benefits described above are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials or documents as in effect from time to time, including but not limited to terms and conditions regarding eligibility. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company, or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
