Supply Chain Associate
Cranbury, New JerseyTo help enhance supply chain operations by working closely with operations team and doing data analysis. Incumbent should have an analytical mind and excellent business acumen for this position. Problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are required.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock and inventory transactions
- Track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to confirm order details and resolve issues.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and minimize costs.
- Maintain accurate records of outbound and inbound shipments, inventory, and other supply chain activities.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain/warehouse procedures to streamline operations.
- Assist in ASN creation for incoming shipments.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain/warehouse & distribution effectiveness
- Help manage logistics, including warehousing and transportation, to ensure seamless distribution.
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
- Measure supply chain performance and report to management.
- Any other roles as required to support business and operations
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field
- 2+ years proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with supply chain software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
