Job Summary:

We are seeking an Associate Director, HEOR to join our team. This role requires significant expertise in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real World Evidence (RWE) work, a good understanding of product strategy, and a practical approach to get work done. The individual will design and execute HEOR initiatives. The individual will have a strong focus on delivering high-quality impactful work, aligning across business partners and effective vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HEOR Strategy & Execution: M anage HEOR projects across product lifecycles, collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, medical affairs, regulatory) to support enterprise needs.
  • Methodological Expertise: Have a strong technical background to deliver HEOR/RWE productions.
  • Hands-On Issue Resolution: Take a proactive, hands-on approach to get work done with a sense of urgency.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee/do quality control/be responsible for work executed by vendors.
  • Market Access & Payer Strategy: Develop and execute evidence to support payor interactions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert within the enterprise, working with teams across medical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions to support and lead business strategy with evidence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in health economics, outcomes research, and payor dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., Master’s, or equivalent advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacoeconomics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HEOR with proven ability to conduct complex projects and translate data into strategic insights. Solid experience in a vendor shop is preferred.
  • Expertise in generating evidence for payor interactions/value communications
  • Strong experience in vendor management
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present evidence and insights to non-HEOR audience
  • Ability to travel 10-15%

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $183,000 to $224,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
